A sorority coach, or sorority recruitment consultant, helps young women navigate sorority recruitment and Greek life by advising on paperwork, wardrobe, social media, and event preparation. They provide personalized support to highlight clients’ strengths, build connections, and offer emotional support throughout the recruitment journey.
A sorority coach’s income varies depending on the number of clients they accommodate and their fee structure. It can range from $300 to $4000 per client, resulting in annual earnings ranging from a few thousand to several hundred thousand dollars.
Sorority coaches work in a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules, often 9-5 but with extra availability provided during recruitment weeks. While most sorority consultants are self-employed, there are sorority coaching companies like Hiking in Heels that may hire full-time coaches.
A bachelor’s degree is typically required, along with experience in sorority life, recruitment, or counseling (see “How to Become a Sorority Coach” below).
